What Makes Us Special

Most parents would like to give their child a private school education, but the high cost of tuition makes it an unrealistic dream.

Our goal at KinderKollege is to put a quality, private school education within every child's reach. The success of KinderKollege and most importantly, of its students, is due to a simple philosophy of keeping class sizes small. This enables our teachers to really know each and every child and work with them to achieve their best: academically, socially and personally.

A Brief History of Our School

Kathy McTavish and Dru Lee opened KinderKollege Primary School in December of 1992. They saw a need for quality Junior and Senior Kindergarten programming and affordable, quality elementary education in a private school setting. A quick scan of the private schools in the area showed that a private school education is priced out of most parents' reach. Unfortunately, that meant that often the children, who would benefit most from a jumpstart to their school career, were not being reached.

KinderKollege opened its doors in the Brampton Civic Centre on the first floor with one large suite and a small family of students. We have continued to grow and meet the needs of students and their families ever since.

By the end of the 1995 school year, we had grown too big for our little school and needed to expand! We began the 1996 school year in our custom built school on the ground floor of the Civic Centre. This meant that we now had ground floor entrances and provided full wheelchair access to our classrooms.

In 2023, KinderKollege began designing a new school, which was custom built for us and opened for the 2023-2024 school year. Conveniently located at the corner of Queen Street and Kennedy Road, our new campus provides our students with everything we need in school and out. We are thrilled to have found our new home for the next chapter of our school!
